Maggie Arana and Julienne Davis
STOP CALLING HIM "HONEY" ...AND START HAVING SEX!: How Changing Your Everyday Habits Can Make You Hot for Each Other All Over Again (HCI Books, 2010)

Julienne Davis was born in Los Angeles and moved to New York where she soon became a successful international model and eventually made her home in London. While in the city, she became involved in other ventures, including fashion stylist, club promoter, singer/songwriter, and producer. In 1998, she auditioned as an extra in Stanley Kubricks Eyes Wide Shut, but instead landed the pivotal role of Mandy Curran in the film. From that point on, her life changed drastically. She became an It girl in London, and her acting, voiceover, and music careers flourished. Her main band Sophisticated Savage received a ton of press and great reviews. She sang, wrote and co-produced the bands debut album Strange Paradise, which is currently available via her bands website, New Paradigm Music, and iTunes. After many years in London, Julienne and her husband (renowned English DJ and writer/journalist Jay Strongman) made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles. They now reside in Pasadena, California.

A UCLA graduate in English Literature (summa cum laude), Maggie Arana has written for various Los Angeles-based publications including Music Connection, the now-defunct BAM Magazine, and the AAA travel magazine, Westways. A long-time lover of alternative music, she was a member of legendary early goth-rock band Kommunity FK. Maggie also enjoyed several years in the public relations business where she worked as a staff writer of press releases and other promotional materials. Maggie is currently a successful Realtor and lives in the Mount Washington area of Los Angeles.
