Vivian Wagner

Wagner is a journalism professor at Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio, with a Ph.D. in English (University of Illinois), specializing in American literature and popular culture. Her writing has appeared in a variety of publications, including regular feature and travel stories for American Profile. She has written about fiddle makers, organic farmers, missile researchers, bookmobiles, marble factories, vegan restaurants, beards, survivalists, L. Frank Baum's Oz novels, banking software, global warming, Agent Orange, high-tech coffeemakers, and many other eclectic topics. As an award-winning writer and photographer with an eye for the unusual, her specialties include music, food, travel, technology, health, and creative nonfiction.
