Adam Korn

Adam Korn joined DeFiore and Company in the fall of 2009. He became an agent after several years working in the editorial departments of the Random House and Crown Publishing Groups and HarperCollins Publishers, during which time he acquired New York Times bestselling titles GO LONG! by Jerry Rice, GOT FIGHT? by Forrest Griffin, and—in a three-book Y.A. deal with Lauren Conrad—L.A. CANDY (which stayed at #1 for several weeks). Other titles on which he's worked include Mike Greenberg's bestselling WHY MY WIFE THINKS I'M AN IDIOT; Tom Bergeron's I'M HOSTING AS FAST AS I CAN!; Terry Murphy, Edward Zine, and Michael Jenike's story of O.C.D. triumph, LIFE IN REWIND; Jake Kalish's SANTA VS. SATAN: The Official Compendium of Imaginary Fights; Trey Hamburger's GHOST'S/ALIENS; Garth Sundem's THE GEEKS' GUIDE TO WORLD DOMINATION; Robert Zubrin's HOW TO LIVE ON MARS; Brian Coleman's CHECK THE TECHNIQUE; and Michael Lavigne's award-winning novel NOT ME.

A graduate of New York University with a degree in journalism, Adam's general non-fiction areas of interest include pop culture, humor, pop psychology, pop science, sports, music, investigative journalism, feisty memoir, and young business leadership/inspiration. And while he's very selective about the fiction he takes on, strong young literary novelists shouldn't be afraid to reach out!

Non-Fiction Highlights (all yet to be published):

  • Freddie Roach w/ Peter Owen Nelson (WILD CARDS)
  • Teri-Lisa Stagg (YOU SAID WHAT?!)
  • Susan Rosenberg (INSIDE OUT)
